Dear Cormac and Alice
Thank you very much for your fax of the 2nd May and your letter of the 25th April, which I received just before my visit to London.
As you know I have no hope of our loved ones lives at all. I tried to reconcile myself with that, but it is hard to do.
However we are different with opinion what has happened to our loved ones I am with your care and admire your constant efforts do finding out anything more. You do all your best and I also think that your open letter from August 97 probably lead to find the debris of the aircraft. I thank you from all of my heart. If you knew that I could help you or help Mandy and her children, please let me know. I will do whatever I can.
Trial on liability against MAPEL has finished 12th May. Although the Judge had found employers negligence he still did not deliver judgement and we can not tell for whom it will be successful. I will inform you and Mandy about the result of the case, whatever it will be. I gave instructions to my lawyer to pass Mandy's lawyer every information which will he needed to him, long time ago.
Today I received fax from Mr Padraig Coyle (a BBC journalist from Belfast) who is doing a research a possible radio documentary for the BBC about our tragedy. He was given my contact number by Cecilia. I wonder if he also contacts you.
I am sorry that I answer to your letter using a computer, but my handwriting is illegible.
Our best wishes to you both
