I am writing to request access to all documentation and records, for the period Dec 03 1999 - Dec 03 2001, relating to the disappearance of flight 9H-ABU on December 3, 1995, which was en route from Djerba to Malta.

This tragic incident resulted in the loss of five passengers and the pilot. My brother, Desmond Boomer, was one of the passengers on the plane, and this personal connection is my reason for making this Freedom of Information (FOI) request

  • All reports, memos, and internal communications pertaining to the disappearance of flight 9H-ABU
  • Any correspondence with external agencies, organizations or governments,related to the incident
  • Investigation findings and conclusions regarding the cause of the disappearance
  • Records of any search and rescue operations conducted in response to the incident
  • Any other relevant documentation or records held by the Department

I understand that some information may be exempt from disclosure; however, I kindly request that all non-exempt material be made available to me.

If there exists material that is exempt from disclosure I would like to request that I be made aware of this material's existence.

I would appreciate receiving the requested documents in electronic format via email.
